Salil Donde December 2015Salil Donde, Executive Vice President, Nasdaq Global Information Services

Salil Donde serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of the Nasdaq Global Information Services. Salil has extensive experience leading technology and data companies, as well as experience in the broader financial services industry. Previously, Salil was CEO of Lewtan Technologies Inc., the leading provider of content and technology-based solutions to members of the global asset-securitization industry. Prior to his role at Lewtan, Salil served as CEO of Marshall & Swift/Boeckh (MSB, a MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. company), where he was responsible for expanding the strategic footprint and scope of the business. Prior to that, he served as president of Fiserv Life and Financial Software and Solutions, and held leadership positions at Rackley Solutions and HSB among others. Salil holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an M.S. in Robotics and Control Systems from Clemson University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.



Robert HughesRobert J. Hughes, Vice President/Head of Index and Advisor Solutions , Nasdaq Global Indexes 

Rob Hughes is responsible for managing and developing the Nasdaq Global Index business across the index licensing, benchmarking and custom calculation segments. Rob works with his team in the U.S., Europe and Asia to devise strategies and create business opportunities for current and prospective Nasdaq clients. Prior to joining Nasdaq, Rob served as a Director for the Independent Research Network (IRN), a joint venture co-owned by The Nasdaq Stock Market® and Reuters. The IRN was developed to provide small and micro-cap companies access to broker quality independent research. Rob has worked in the financial sector his entire career. He spent more than a decade in Investors Relations and was also employed with Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor. Hughes received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and was a Monogram winner for the university’s nationally-renowned football team.



Kelly SpectorKelly Spector, Vice President, Market Index Services 

Kelly Morriss Spector is Head of Global Index Operations for Nasdaq’s Index business. Prior to that role, she was responsible for developing and executing strategic efforts for the Global Information Services (GIS) business unit, which consists of data- and index-related products and services. She provided strategic direction in pricing, licensing and business structure for the GIS business. Ms. Spector also oversaw analysis and evaluation of acquisitions, mergers, and business opportunities, including Dorsey Wright and the eSpeed trading platform Ms. Spector has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and started with Nasdaq in 1998. Currently, she serves as the Washington, DC Chapter Co-Head for Women In ETFs. She received her M.B.A. from George Washington University in 2004, and her B.A. from Connecticut College in 1995.


Dave GedeonDave Gedeon, Vice President, Product Management 

Dave Gedeon is responsible for the index product management, development and research of Nasdaq Global Indexes, a leading global index provider that calculates more than 40,000 indexes spanning all major asset classes and geographies. Under Dave’s direction, Nasdaq has launched thousands of indexes resulting in both innovative benchmarks and index-tracking products. Notable launches include the Nasdaq U.S. All Market Family, the Nasdaq Multi-Asset Family, and the Nasdaq Commodity Index Family. Gedeon was also instrumental in leading the expansion of the Nasdaq Dividend AchieversTM brand. Dave holds a B.A. in economics from Denison University.
