Adena T. Friedman, President 

Adena is responsible for overseeing strategy and operations of the GIS team. From 2011 to 2014, Adena served as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of The Carlyle Group, a global asset management firm. Before Carlyle, Adena was a key member of Nasdaq's management team for over a decade, serving in a variety of roles including head of the company's data products business, head of corporate strategy, as well its Chief Financial Officer. She originally joined Nasdaq in 1993.

Adena earned an M.B.A. from Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University, in Nashville, Tennessee. She holds a B.A. in political science from Williams College in Massachusetts.

Oliver Albers, Vice President / Head of Sales  

Oliver Albers is Head of Global Sales and Account Management for Nasdaq Global Data Products. His team is focused on creating innovative real-time and historical data products that provide unsurpassed market transparency to institutional, retail and individual investors.

Oliver and his team are responsible for providing value-added consultative services to all Nasdaq Market Data Vendors and for managing relationships with data subscribers.

Oliver holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Ohio University and a Masters in Business Administration from The George Washington University.

Regina (Jeannie) Merritt, Vice President, Market Data Service  

Jeannie Merritt is responsible for managing the Global Data Operations and Audit teams which involves overseeing the application process, the audit schedule, the usage reporting, billing processes and policy changes related to the dissemination of valuable information from the quoting and trading in Nasdaq’s trading systems worldwide. She also serves as the Administrator for the Unlisted Trading Privileges (UTP) Plan.

She has served on the FISD Executive Committee and is currently a co-chairperson of the Business Issues Advisory Committee.

Jeannie holds a B.S. degree and an M.B.A. in General Business from the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, as well passed both the FINRA Series 7 and the Financial Information Associate (FIA) exam.

Jeff Kimsey, Vice President, Product Management U.S.  

Jeff Kimsey is Vice President and Head of U.S. Product Management for Global Information Services. He is responsible for the ongoing growth and development of data products and services within the Americas.

Jeff’s team manages all outbound dissemination in the U.S. including equities, options, mutual funds and fixed income products.

Jeff holds a Bachelor in Finance from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola University.
