Advantages of Being Listed

Nasdaq Iceland hf. is the center for fixed income offering in Iceland. We are an integrated part of the Icelandic financial infrastructure given our offerings of listing and trading and provider of information services related to Icelandic fixed income products.

Thus listing of securities on our market gives a direct access to the Icelandic financial market through trading and data distribution services to all financial institutions in Iceland. In short a listing gives you the following advantages:

  • Listing on a regulated market fulfills requirements from many institutional investors who are often only allowed to invest in listed securities. Similarly listing on a regulated exchange will help with approaching retail investors.
  • Trading in the secondary market with updated pre and post trade information in all securities.
  • Visibility through distribution via information vendors.
  • Official price quotes from a regulated exchange.
