MiFID II introduces changes in multiple areas for many instruments. Here, Market Members can find information on the impact of the new regulations on Nasdaq’s current products and market models.
MiFID II impacts Equities mainly in the following areas: transparency, Market Making and other market structures changes, best execution as well as OTC trading and trade publications.
MiFID II will impact Equity Derivative markets in several areas and the first changes to functionalities are scheduled for the fall of 2016.
Several changes will be implemented in Fixed Income in order to meet the requirements of MiFID II, including in the areas of pre- and post-trade transparency, deferral of publication, trade cancellation and reference data.
