Paul McKeown

Paul McKeown is SVP and Head of Marketplace Operators & New Markets, Market Technology. In his most recent role, Paul oversaw the worldwide sales activities for Nasdaq’s core technology offerings to exchanges, clearinghouses, depositories and emerging marketplaces. Previously, he served as Head of Global Sales and Service for Nasdaq’s Global Corporate Solutions business following the acquisition of the business from Thomson Reuters in 2013. 

Paul also served as Vice President of Market Technology and Global Head of Nasdaq’s compliance and surveillance offerings from 2011 to 2013.

Paul joined Nasdaq in 2000, and has 18+ years of sales and marketing experience within financial markets across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas. He has been involved in a wide spectrum of sectors including retail banking, international treasury, retail and institutional securities, trade finance, investment banking, exchange trading, clearing and settlement. 

Paul was educated in the United Kingdom and holds a BA (Hons) in Business from Nottingham Trent University. He gained his Asia-Pacific regional experience during his 12 years living in Sydney. In addition to Sydney, he has been based in New York, Stockholm and currently resides in London.
