Washington DCOn May 30, Nasdaq hosted a web seminar “Inside Look at Tax Reform: A Conversation with Top Tax Policy Staffers on the Hill.” The webinar featured Barbara Angus, Chief Tax Counsel, House Ways and Means Committee, and Mark Prater, Chief Tax Counsel, Senate Finance Committee.

The discussion focused on the outlook for tax reform in the 115th Congress. The speakers shared their insights on the status of key items such as lowering the overall business tax rate, border adjustment taxes, repatriation of foreign earnings, interest deductibility and other items that could impact the future tax planning of public companies.
