South America-based Cielo S.A. (OTC- Nasdaq Int Designation: CIOXY) recently joined the Nasdaq International Designation Program’s family of innovative companies.

Cielo is a tech retail services company leading the electronic payments sector in Latin America and one of the top 10 Brazilian corporations by market value. In 2016, Cielo captured over 6.7 billion transactions and $185 billion in financial volume through their platform. Their 1.7 million active clients include individual entrepreneurs and large retailers across Brazil.
